RE: Anyone ever had a bad cup of coffee at Dunkin
It is impossible to get a bad cup of coffee at Dunkin' Donuts. It is equally impossible to get a bad cup of coffee at an Ontario located Tim Horton's; all the rest...

OH GOD this has arrived here?
There is this big controversy about this between a lot of Canadians and US amateur radio operators here in the Detroit area. A few months ago a few of the hard core fans of both went around and compared different locations quality of a cup of coffee. No results were given but they apparently had some fun traveling about.

To become a great chef, you must follow some basic rules;
#1 – don't stick your finger up your nose after chopping up jalapeno peppers.

I have found that all Tim hortons taste the same, but I prefer dunkin donuts... I was told that Dunkin Donuts has to make a fresh pot every 18 min. and if not sold dump it and make it again.

Well the idea is that any Tim Hortons state side is a wendys with a different sign so coffee is not up to the Canadian standards.

Randy, If you are looking at expediting as a career I think you better get started on becoming a coffee drinker. Begin with decaf for the first few weeks. Then try adding some regular coffee to the decaf. Slowly work your way up to 100 proof. And what ever you do, DON'T GO INTO A COFFEE PLACE WITH DIESELPHREAK! He'll drink you under the table or should that be over the chandelier. Wait at least a year. Good luck.

For some you may want to limit your intake of coffee to keep your Blood Pressure down.
I reduced my BP by 20% by cutting back to 2 cups a day. A cup is added for those all nighters.

RE: Anyone ever had a bad cup of coffee at Dunkin
I've had 4 cups of coffee in my life and they were all bad. When I was 17 and just started college I had a class that started at 0700. To get there I had to get up at 0430 to get ready and then drive there. My mom always put a fair amount of cream in her coffee so I tried that and it was awful. The next time I tried a good amount of sugar like my dad did his and it was awful. The next time I thought since I'm a product of the two of them I'd try a good dosing of cream and sugar and it was awful. The last time I thought maybe putting in stuff ruins it so I tried it black and it was awful. I haven't had any since. Where's that Dr. Pepper? MMMMM!

Common sense is only "right wing" if you are too far to the left.
The lesser of two evils is still evil but less evil is preferred to more evil if those are the only two viable options.

Don, You're right about caffeine and increased BP. If you loose the bag or at least cut a breathing hole in it you may drop your BP another couple of points.
