strange things in the middle of the road
we were on an all niter enjoying the hiways and byways of rural geoja the udder nite. we were ooooing ans awwwing at the old homes in sparta along rt 16. we passed the bank time and temp sign and then i saw movement in the road. gracie saw movement long the side of the road. there is was in front of me. blonde/white in the amber fog lights. 4 legged, dog? no. cat, no. walking with the hips high in the air. fox or coyote, no. black face short nose. HEY its a monky? yeah its a monkey. two of them out taking an early morning stroll. looked right at me like i was not bigger than it was.
i have seen battery operated pigs fly at the sfo airport but never seen monkeys crossing the road in america before.
more surprise than shock and no pix to show.
