You're braver than I am. I'd be going to one of the T/A's on 20 or 30 or maybe the Love's down 45. That exit 472 is not on my acceptable list.

headed from mich to winsted ct tomorrow...been with panther over 3 years and havent made it to laredo yett, my driver went there 2 times in a month.....dont no if thats a blessing or not!!! i bet in the winter it would be though, have a safe trip

Garland is where my favorite uncle lived. It's been years since I was really there other than passing by on 635. It's grown immensely since then. There's a huge mall just a few miles south on 635 on the north edge of Mesquite. If you want a truckstop then it's the ones I mentioned or the horrible ones down at exit 472. Those are just so full of drugs and lizards I hate to go there unless it's just to fuel and go. What few times I've been to Dallas in the truck I've either stayed at a Walmart/whatever near the cons or gone to one of the 3 I posted.
