Re: Good Movies?!
I've seen 2 recently. "21" was not too bad. 3.5 QC beeps out of a possible 5. Kevin Spacey always does well portraying someone with questionable character. The other was "Shine a Light", the Rolling Stones concert documentary. I give it 5 beeps. Mick was 63 when the movie was shot, and, SHOOT, I make old man noises just standing up and I'm only 52! The dude's in shape. As a live vocalist, I would grade him a D, but as a showman, a solid A. And Keith? Well, he's still alive, and apparently that's saying something. The screen sizzles when Christina Agiulara(I'm not even going to try to spell that right) joins them for "Live with Me". If you're a fan and have never seen them live, it's a must see.

Re: Good Movies?!
Too much time on my hands, can't wait to get back on the road. Been watching a lot of movies.
Not released yet but will be;
88 Minutes - it is good but predictable if you see the trailer.
Forgetting Sarah Marshal - if you like the American Pie type movie, well you may like this one - I didn't
The Forbidden Kingdom - ok if you are impress with Micky, you will be impressed with Jackie Chan.
New releases I saw before they were released;
Leather Heads - I like Clooney in a lot of movies but this one was not what I would call fast paced like a lot of his other movies. What's her name? .... Renee something or another, you know the one who got an Oscar for that horrible movie Chicago... well she really didn't do too bad in the movie Somewhat of an interest for me because of the idea that I have that Football should always be played like it was intended, just like the movie.
10,000 BC - grunt
Smart People - it seems like another ...well.. I didn't feel it hit the mark.
Horton hears a who - well I think it is ok, I would think it would be better to have the kids use their imagination and read the book. The CGI is good though and Jim Carey does very well, but again he always does.
21 - knowing the full story, the movie was ok, I like Kevin Spacey, I wish he would do more movies.
Vantage point - on my list of got to see, not really for the story line but for the way the film was put together.
I saw a lot more, but I won't bore you all with them...

Re: Good Movies?!
The television show The Office. While not a movie, it is on DVD. My kids gave me seasons 1 and 2 for Christmas. I had never seen the show and I am not a fan of sitcoms. But this show is very well written, has great characters and is laugh out loud funny. I got hooked and bought season 3 which I think is even funnier than seasons 1 and 2.
I also borrowed from my daughter, at her insistence, HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm. She claims the main character, Larry David, played by Larry David, reminds her of me. Okay, we're both bald and maybe there are some other similarities. Another funny show.
The above endorsements come from one who watches very little television. When I am home I watch the History Channel, Discovery or a Twins game. The only decent sitcom I can think of is the first few years of M*A*S*H. My all time favorite t.v. show is Hill Street Blues except for the last 2 seasons. It should have been put down sooner.

Re: Good Movies?!
Go out and get all three seasons of the TV show ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT. That will keep your brain on edge as well as your funnybone. Seasons are 20 bucks a piece at Target. Three discs each.

Re: Good Movies?!
Any NetFlix plan will get you unlimited free online movies . We use our 37" HDTV at home hooked up as a monitor to our PC to watch the movies and I watch them on the laptop on the road . We still get DVD's in the mail to maintain the free online service and also to get Bluray rentals .
