FedEx Custom Critical recently contacted the Owner Operators that achieved that carrier's higest standards and were selected to be feted at ceremonies in Las Vegas. This annual safety/performance Four Star Award recognizes. owners from each vehicle category.

Bob and I maintained a perfect safety record this past fiscal year, stayed available over 70% of the time and had a good load acceptance rating. We are honored to have been included in a group of safety conscious performers that have maintained FedEx Custom Critical's highest standards. We look forward to few relaxing days at the Venetian and seeing the Blue Man Group!

Have you decided to go, or are you going to stay in service and make money during this prestigious event?

To achieve this award there are certain performance criteria that must be accomplished. Based on previous posts by the A Team I don't think they qualified.Nothing wrong with that but thats the way it is. The deciding factor is the number of runs that the truck completed for the last 12 months. A basic unit based out of Chicago may easily do 4-5 runs a week,while a specialized W/G unit may do only one but return a greater profit to FedexCC.

The one stat that got me was load acceptance. In my opinion that one falls on the carrier and I don't worry about it. I was good on everything else.

Dreamer I cannot even begin to tell you what a really great year we have had! I am not just talking monetary either we have just had a good year all around.

We are going to see the Blue Man Group and will be sitting in the poncho section. That will be exciting to say the least. We are going when most shows are blacked out but did manage to get tickets to see Phantom of the Opera. We are also hoping to go on a rafting trip. We will do and see as much as we possibly can while in Las Vegas. Thank you guys for all the kudos'.
