Panic Buttons
Can some of you give some examples of times you have felt the need to use it, or situations where you would use the panic buttons on your truck, keychain panic buttons included....and while your at it...when not to use it.
I will start with a time not to use it.....when you on hold to long and no one will answer the phone. Yes I know it is frustrating being on hold for too long, but come on seriously.Patrick House

Re: Panic Buttons
DONT USE THE PANIC BUT WHEN YOUR IN A PANIC, CAUSE YOU CANT GET INTOUCH WITH YOUR DISPATCH.I can tell you this from experience.
Unless your sure that it's a life threatening thing,Leave that panic button alone.
If you have been stopped, and you see that your in danger, then thats the time to use it,and if you want a response, when they send the are yoou ok message,or call you on the phone, don't answer either.Help will be there shorly

Re: Panic Buttons
When someone is standing on your running board with a gun, then you use it.
If you are at a light and get rear ended you don't use it.
I would not want a pendent panic button for any reason.Greg

Re: Panic Buttons
We have never felt a need to use it. One thing for sure, we will never use it to get dispatch. LOL!! The only time it has ever been used is in testing or by a numbskull in a repair shop. We have learned to cover it with the top from a plastic pop bottle to take away that temptation. I guess that big red button is just too much for some to resist.
