Panther Drivers:

Is there a particular hotel that is near where orientation will be? I am not going to pickup the truck from Panther until the next day.

My co driver and I are renting a car for the trip up there next weekend and we are trying to figure how to get from Akron/Fairlawn (after I drop the rental) to Seville. Any advice would be helpful.

motel 8/ red roof inn in medina is the best around

super 8 right there by pilot and ta in seville has always treated me good .. courteous service .. I'd recommend , pretty new place nicely set up rooms, interenet free, cheap too like 55-60 really nice place over all.

All 3 of these are within a couple of miles of Seville.

We see Panther trucks at all 3 and all 3 have fast food eateries within walking distance.

You'll get better rates if you use Priceline.

Find out what hotels that the Panther van picks up at, when deciding which Motel to stay at. As far as getting to the hotel from Akron I think its a $35.00 cab ride.

The Super 8 is better than your average Super 8. It's where I stayed a couple years back. Wherever you find ask if they have a panther discount. There is also an independent place in Medina that advertised in the panther break room. They said that they provide a shuttle to panther a couple times a day. But I never saw that place.

Again, Thank you All. I like to plan for the unknown. I haven't yet talked to Panther about those arrangements-but I will call'em in the am now that the truck is settled.
