Gotto love truck stops!!

We were just sitting, minding our own business, when, SCRAPE!!!!!!!! I hear that awful sound of metal on metal!! I quickly pull the shade in time to see the other guys trailer up against my mirrors on my drivers side!!

Mrs. Layoutshooter and jump out of the passengers side door and stopped him BEFORE he could do ANY damage!!
Whew!! Dodged a bullet this time!! The driver did NOT know he was into my mirrors. After all, it is sunny and broad daylight out.

He did get out without causing damage and managed to get parked. That was our excitement for the day!!!!

Wuz look'in at the puter last nite in Maybrook, NY, when a fella wants ta git in next to me. I pulled in plenty far for anyone. Asked the fella if'n he wanted me to back er in fer him. Noper, i'll do'er mysef. Shee's an adventure out here!!!!!!

Gotta love it!! NOW he has his door open and is working on something. We are sooooo lucky, NOW we get to listen to his "UGGA BUGGA" rap crap whateveryoucallit noise. WHEW!! He just finished and closed the door. Don't hear that garbage anymore!!!

NO, it was NOT country. I can sorta tolorate SOME country but that "STUFF" that guy was blasting, YUCK!!! He is free to listen to what he wants to but I don't like having to listen to it!! His freedom to listen STOPS inside his truck!! Man, was that "STUFF"" just plain BAD!! No melody, just "thump thump" percussion, NO singing voice AT ALL and FOUL MOUTHED garbage spewing from blown speakers!! Lucky us!!

Layout, if you have heated and/or power mirrors make sure they still work. He may have broken the wiring.

I did check that Moot, all is well. I think all he scraped was a bit of the CB antenna mount that sticks out just a tiny bit further than the mirrors. No marks or scrapes on the mirrors or mirror mounts either. Got lucky this time.

And this is why we will not overnight or hang the curtains at a t/s,too many close calls and some minor damage.

There are far too many wallyworlds and home depots and lowe's out there to have to put up with worrying about the truck,the noise,the smell and the shady characters in truck stops.
