You can do full address to address, or leave the streets blank and just do city to city.

Once you've entered the starting and ending locations, you scroll down and click on the little pencil and paper thingy to get the detailed route directions and the State Report. Then click the icon on the lower left for the map. You can click to zoom and click to add more detail to the map (Level 3 shows fuel stops, for example).

Go crazy.

I put in from my house to my dad's house. It did it right as far as the routing around Houston to be legal but near my dad's house it put me on a toll road for one exit that never should have been used and did a little other weird stuff. There are no clearance issues between so I can't comment on that. Anyway, in this single test it's great for staying legal around a big city but poor for local directions near the start/finish.
