Re: Van stolen...please help
let toledo police know as well if so they can also keep an eye out
we are not partners we are not getting a % of all work done for a company....we are contractors given one job to do and asked to do it well. if we can't do it the carrier will move on to the next person simply as that.

Re: Van stolen...please help
I am assuming Bolt cannot pick her up on the GPS?
Have you called and made a missing persons report in the town or county she was last seen as this would be the jurisdiction that would handle the case?
Do you have any information on family or friends that may help with locating her? There is the possibility she went missing of her free will.
Did you file a stolen vehicle report? This will help locate the vehicle.
There is really nothing else you can do right now.
Tis sad to say but I am sure we all are praying she went missing of her on free will. The other explanation would be inconceivable.

Re: Van stolen...please help
Well, for what its worth, I spotted this woman at a TA in North Carolina about a month ago , and it wasn't in the van posted. She was driving for an owner that was stiffing her for pay, and she was selling DVD'S out of this van. I know that this doesn't help the owner of the missing van, but something is amiss about having to sell things out of your van, drug addiction maybe. I don't want to start anything here, but I do know about addiction, and it surely points in that direction. I hope she's alright, and that you find your van.

They might be able to find her using that phone, she texted you with. If you haven't already you should give the number to whichever police departments are working with you.

Re: Van stolen...please help
I hate to sound negative but I suspect the phone was nowhere near the van when the message was sent and tracking the phone would send authorities away from the van .

I agree. The message could mean anything. Still keeping an eye open here. We are monitoring a fuel island in the Midwest. Diane has the second shift tonight.

Re: Van stolen...please help
Hopefully if its a medical reason, shes ok and you get your truck back in one piece. If its a shady deal where shes harboring the van somewhere or using it for her own personal doings, shes caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.The qc on the trucks can be disabled by unpluging them, pulling out a fuse or just cable cutting the wires.I will in the future do my own background check on ppl and also add a hidden gps tracking device on my trucks that nobody else knows about.

Re: Van stolen...please help
Great idea for anyone with unknown entities in their expensive equipment. I didn't open your link to see what was there, but I do know that here, many lenders install these devices on the trucks as the loans/leases are signed, before the new owner leaves with the equipment. No reason an owner can't do the same thing with a driver, as you can then know where the truck is at all times, if you care to look.
