Smile Re: General Economic Conditions Continue to Deteriorate

The bond market is sending the clear message that all this new government debt that will be forth coming will NOT be able to be consumed by investors. This means that as Obama adds more and more socialism costs into the mix, we move closer to a depression/and or a skyrocketing inflationary bubble within the next 2-4 years. We simply do not have the means to fund another $10 trillion in new debts over the next 10 years. Taxes will have to be raised significantly to even come close to funding this debt, as well as economic growth averaging 3-4% every year for the next decade. To get a great and informed picture of the US and world economies, check out John Mauldin and his weekly commentaries.

What does all this mean for our business? It is still going to be shrinking for several more years. There may be good periods but the good times will not be back for long. It is just going to be bumpy for quite a number of years, with periods of inconsistency.

Here in Atlanta, I am enjoying the rainy season and not concerned about the economy. It is fruitless to worry about what you hear in the news. What is required is a belief in the unseen and the knowing that money does indeed fall from the heavens. Since most of you could never think in such fashion, I suggest you pray to the money gods and hope for the best. Or, write a letter to the Obama Fund and get a gov't handout. I, for one, am refusing to take part in this new fangled socialistic nonsense and am going my own way. Goodbye gov't and hello prosperity!
