Panther pages
I have an idea, why not change the name of one of the forums to "Panther Pages".......sure are alot of panther II drivers on here whining and complaining........
You'd think they would use the website that panther supplies to their o/o's and drivers to vent their complaints about the company policies. Nothing can be done blowing off steam on here, why not send in your complaints to someone who can actually do something about it
From what I've read recently, not sure I'd ever want to drive for panther.........after reading about people not getting paid for loads completed, calling people at 0300 hrs. to offer a load, then putting them on that load after they've turned it down, etc.......it goes on and on.
After reading some of the posts, I'm surprised that panther II can get anyone to sign a truck on with them........I surely wouldn't after reading alot of the posts on here about their company policies.
I drove for one of the other big expediting companies for over 2 1/2 yrs and never, never had any of the problems like the ones I'm reading about panther II........
I'm sure a few are asking "then why aren't you still with them"? Just for your info, the owner I drove for sold all his straight trucks to concentrate on his tractor/trailers.
Would I go back drive for that company again?? In a heartbeat!!!! Hopefully this comming spring.........COME ON SPRING!!!!!!
There, I feel better........LOL

I have an idea, when FedEx Custom Critical makes a change in their procedures, let's call the Forum The FECC Pages, cause the same thing happens.
Or even better, let's call it The Suds43 Pages, cause there's a lot of Suds43 people whining about Panther.
There, I feel better........LOL

Not to worry. Doesn't matter if you're with Panther or not, every carrier will do something that drives you crazy. Panther can drive you crazy, and you can leave them and go to another carrier, and they'll drive you crazy, too, only they'll be doing different stuff to drive you crazy. You'll be just as crazy no matter what.

i left the cat almost 3 months ago, and believe me the grass is not greener, only thing that is a plus is i can move around and not lose my position, (how can you lose your pos if you are the only one there)....hate to say it but i might go back to the litter box, because its all about the miles and the money...

Re: Panther pages
Moot has a good point. No one goes to the Panther website because it does not work as well as this one.
I also think that management pays more attention to things said here that on their site

Re: Panther pages
Like some said before me...The big bad Kitty ain't all that bad...you gotta work within the perameters of the rule system and make them work for you! No sense jumping ship in a panic...you'll just butt up against another set of rules. The Cat has the business most definately....with experience you'll learn where to be and not to be..That is the question and the answer as well!
I also have learned to stay away from company politics...it just drives ya crazy...Just DO the job...relax and enjoy!
Getting nasty with a dispatcher won't help you get a trip....if anything you might get skipped or get a shorty.
I talked with a dispatcher (load planner) for about 20 minutes last night...she said drivers are getting down right rude and hurtful...she undrstands we have to make a living and empathizes with our situation....but she can't make customers call.
You'll catch more flies with sugar then with vinegar.

Re: Panther pages
My post wasn't intended as a Panther bashing.........I was just stating my opinion on some of the posts I've read on here about Panther.........some don't make the company sound very good on how they treat their drivers. in certain instances. On the flip side, they must be doing something right or no one would be flying their colors on the sides of their trucks...
I apologize to those that may have been offended, didn't mean to stir up any dust in the kitty litter box.
And I agree with everyone, each company has it's problems, in their own way......It's been said a thousand times on here, "what ever turns your tires" is the important thing......If your happy with your company, you've found the right "fit" for yourself.
With that said....................NOW I feel better!!! LOL
Ya'll have a safe, profitable week-end!!!! Keep those tires turning
