Log pages
I have always used those cheatin Tear out log pages. What I love about them other than what Cheri commented on is the hours of service for the day, week, and how many hours left to drive in the week.
Now my new Carrier does not even have a place for them let alone all of the check offs on the back for the PTI that I really do follow while doing a Pre-Trip otherwise it gets shorter and shorter as things get into habits and habits = short cuts.
Now my question is this, once a week I fill in there Log pages line for line like the Tear out pages I filled in earlier. If ever asked for my logs I give the officer the ones in book with ALL OF THE INFO filled out. If push came to shove? Am I considered breaking the law by doing this using two log books that are identicle for 24 hour lines of On Duty Off Duty Driving and Sleeper?
