1st and 2nd sign petro and ta will not be operated

As I recall, when the Petro buyout occured I read in numerous places that both brands were to be operated separtely. The next month in the "Road King" Magazine both brands were listed in location directory.......Then Showers go from 9 to 10 dollars effective same day. These a little things but I think that more is to come. Wished they would combined the passports points......lol. my 2 cents worth

Volvo Trucks North America today announced that its 28.68% interest held in Petro Stopping Centers Holdings, LP (Petro) since 1999 has been acquired by TravelCenters of America and Hospitality Properties Trust. Volvo received $46.3 million upon the closing of the transaction today. The company characterized the sale as a testament to the growing strength of its dealer network.

On May 31, 2007, TravelCenters of America LLC (AMEX: TA) acquired the operating businesses of Petro Stopping Centers, LP. Simultaneous with this acquisition, Hospitality Properties Trust (NYSE: HPT) acquired 40 Petro travel center properties and entered into long-term lease agreements with TA.
