Had a great first day, looking forward to todays events. A few hot topics where covered, such as, qualcomm tracking of trucks, and the multiple violations that many drivers received. To my understanding the reason was that the system (progrqm used) looked for exact matches between log sheets and qualcomm locations. Apparently it will now look for proxiemty instead of exact matches. If I understand it right, (I'll double check today) we are in Morristown Il (showing 2 miles from Rockford) but we can put Rockford and it will be okay, whereas before we would receive a violation notice. The problem started when they quit entering the information manually and went to an automated system. Watch for a letter explaining it in detail.

Another nice thing is no more mileage sheets, watch for info explaining it.

Saw the Super Speedco truck, looks cool.

We spent Wednesday at our CABS class and the following business class. Boy, did we learn some good stuff!

We stayed over for BCO Days on Thursday and were very impressed. We really enjoyed Dan Baker after lunch and the Aztec Ballet after supper.

The amout of thanks and graditude given to the drivers was tremendous. Landstar went far beyond our expectations!
