FedEx Paperwork pay hold back

I completely understand the policy of holding back pay if paperwork is not sent in.

The rub is when there is a transfer of freight and the other driver fails to get his paperwork in,my pay is held up as well as his. This is unfair as I have no control over him/her.

In the case of Air Charter it is even worse. I have been held up as much as three weeks while we wait for the pilot to send his in.

This policy should be changed, and the holdup of pay should only be for the party who failed to comply.

RE: FedEx Paperwork pay hold back

You are right!
The pay should be held up for the guilty party ONLY.
There is no reason for your pay to get held up as well, even though someone will come on here and give some ya ya ya yack excuse for some pencil necked geek accountant at your company to do it the way they knifed you.
I say - call 'em and tell them you want it resolved now, not later, but now, they can load it on your com card or whatever, make sure they cover the expense for loading the card as well.
Take a stand and stand by it.
I have had transfers before at Panther and never had that problem and also when I drove for Tri-State. So maybe it is a one time problem and an oversight on their part - who knows.
My point is you did your part - now they need to be held accountable for theirs.

I have not experienced that situation but would be livid if or when it does. I does my part... I wants my money...

I have no patience for someone with their hand in my pocket.

We have also done many transfers with Air Charter and with other drivers and have never experienced this. This sounds really odd.
