We received this email at EO this weekend with a request
to disseminate it on our site; I think the best place to
achieve this is here on the forum.

I'm somewhat suspicious about many things that appear
through the Internet or email, but after reading through
it a couple of times, it would appear to be a legitimate
request for info. In the interest of trying to do the right
thing, here it is.

letter: my parents were
both killed in a tragic accident on the morning of
friday, june 15,2001. this accident occurred
around 8:15am in texas on I-20 eastbound at the
414 mile marker in the area of a consruction zone
in the weatherford and hudson bay areas out of
fort worth, tx.

my parents were originally from the leland, ms
area but had relocated to georgia nearly 10 years
ago. we were left with little and almost no
account of the accident.

i would like to find a way to get the word out to
truckers and anyone else that may have been an
eyewitness to this horrendous tragedy to contact
my family. on the cb my father was known as
"bountyhunter" and my mother was
"ladybountyhunter".

in brief, the accident report shows my parents
failed to control the speed of their blue condo
freightliner as cause of the wreck.

there were two other vehicles involved, a small
honda and another 18 wheeler (north american van
lines). the only identifiable portion of my
parents vehicle was the back doors to the "raven"
trailor they where pulling (they were leased with
heartland). the traffic was blocked for 2-4 hours
due to the severity of the accident and wreckage.

they weren't even aware at first that both my
parents were in the truck, they could not even
tell who was driving, and my parents had to be
identified by their dental records.

my father had been a professional driver for over
20 years and my mother joined him on the road as a
partner and driver a few years ago. my parents
were defensive drivers, my father lived and worked
his dream for many years and my mother was very
proud to join him.

our family has been devastated by this tragic
accident and we would like any information we
could find out there in the trucker's world.
