Excellent Observation, Treeman! DPC Online Services

In your previous post, you spoke of satellite online services, and we've been checking around for them, too. We are currently subscribing to DTV's (Direct TV) Total Choice package -- no premium movie channels, but lots of other stuff, over 100 channels -- for $32/month. We're real happy with them, so far, and are working on getting the Network Channels, east coast and west coast, with a copy of our truck registration and CDL. Anyway, they are working on Direct PC, an UP and down link satellite ISP. Since my dad is doing all the ground work on this, i don't have an internet addy for them, but i'll keep ya'll informed as the story unfolds! i don't mind telling you that i'm just LOST without my Internet Connection! lol

StarBand has 2 way satellite internet now. Not sure if it could be used as a mobile application, but you never know. It says all you need is a view of the south sky. It can be used jointly with DISH Network too.Drive Happy, Chris
