Visiting the Biltmore House in Ashville, NC


Diane and I met relatives who live in the area and visited the Biltmore House in Ashville, NC yesterday. Admission is $45 each and well worth the price. The staff is guest friendly and parking for straight trucks and tractors is readily available. Stop first at the welcome center to get your tickets and truck parking instructions.



This photo was taken shortly before sundown and after the house had closed. Most visitors were gone leaving us with the place to ourselves. The truck hides a no parking sign. When I asked the staff about posing the truck for a photo like this, they were all for it and told me exactly how to do it.

The Biltmore House is one of the best tourist stops we have ever done. The house, gardens, winery and farm were all amazing.
