Highbury RD exit 401 W to close for 6 weeks

Starting July 21 the Highbury Road exit on 401 West (the Flying J exit ) will close for 6 weeks . I hate that . If I was headed back to the U.S. empty in the late afternoon I'd take my 10 hours at the Flying J and cross the border without delay at 3 a.m. and run all the way across I-94 doing the speed limit all the way to I-75 . I suppose there's a way to take another exit and wind around to the J . They also have the westbound exit on 400 for the Wyoming fuel stop closed . Then when you get to MI you can't get to the Marathon and Mobil (at the 262 ? )

Westbound get off at e195 and go south first right should be Wilton Grove road take that to Highbury turn right to the J.
When you leave the J turn south(left) right on Wilton Grove will take you to Wellington turn right to the 401

Thanks . I figured it was that simple . I just wonder how traffic will be on that route .

Probably truck heavy...lot of truck yards down there and industrial parks, and of course to get to Ford in St Thomas..

OR you could take your 10 at the 5th wheel TS I believe thats at e195. it's not so bad there. I might have that confused with the Husky...if your just sleeping it doesn't really matter much.

Yeah , it's a 5th wheel . I had considered that . The T/A in Woodstock would be pushing making my miles the next day .

and then there's that recently converted Esso station into a Pilot further down closer to Tilbury...

The few days after the closing of the ramp Wilton Grve was also closed to thru traffic due to construction. So had to reroute to the next road down which comes out on Highbury not far down. Other wise exit at essex and go north on first road and back follow roads to highbury and go over bridge. otherwise westbound exit at vetrans and go north to first exit and go west to highbury and of course south to J.
