Alumi Bunk
Has any one ever had any dealings with Alumi Bunk in Missassaga Ontario..They seem to run adds every couple of weeks in the London Free Press..I called and spoke with them they seem to be doing the same thing as Kennedy Transport in Missassaga Ontario..You purchase your truck from them and they set you up with a contract..There numbers are alot less then Kennedy Transport..Alumi told me that for two trips to New York a week that I should clear $1000 per week as Kennedy said that I would clear $1500 per week..I have never driven for a living but hope to soon as I am going to school in Mid Dec for my AZ..And secondy does anyone in my area no what if any companys hire right out of school..And can anyone give me an idea of what kind of money I should be able to earn after graduation
Thanks for the imfo

RE: Alumi Bunk
Lesson #1: Never ask a truck dealer how much money you might earn driving a truck that they want to sell.
Lesson #2: If you flunk lesson #1, ignore any earnings advice you've received from a truck salesman.

RE: Alumi Bunk
These guys give Canadians(not their country of origin)a REALLY REALLY bad name.I walked down the primrose lane of the cookie cutter expediters with Oklahoma plates and learned the meaning of deception and the curse of the slipppery deal.Be advised.

RE: Alumi Bunk
Most of these deals are not to be relied on. Although the alumi bunk prices seem more realistic for todays market.
Try and find a decent used unit and sign on with one of the companies around.
If going for az lic then you might want to try like pyrofax up in bradford. They used to hire newbies and had western stars for tractors. Runs to georgia and florida but since the housing slump not sure what they are doing (have canac kitchens as a customer). There are others around and in Mississauga there are tons of tt haulers that always seem to be hiring.
For expediting, look at k-dac in baden, big m (not sure of their office place, small outfit fairly new), rjr, roaring (windsor area) etc. Call and discuss truck type and see what's around.
Places like paramount in newmarket have used units and that foreign express trucks in schomberg as well. There are others.
I can look around here as I'm in brampton/miss every day.

Re: Alumi Bunk
Dean: We have no problem if you disagree with Alumi-Bunk or it's employees but Read the EO Code of Conduct, stick to the facts and tone down the language.
