I was just in Canada today and stopped at a Wendy's/rest area along hwy 401. I went in ordered a combo meal for $6.99 (on the menu so I thought) and was told that with the exchange rate I ended up paying $8.50 U.S. So what's up with that?! guess I'll be bringing my own food with me.

The exchange rate is pretty equal right now . Keep track of it here . Exchange rates- Rates and Statistics- Bank of Canada . I'd contact Wendy's corporate office .

Save your breath, Wendy's prices (at least in Canada) are just sky high.

Piper....don't worry the U.S. is fast catching up! 18% in Tucson at the dealer!! State, Town, County tax. A lot of U.S. cities have a city tax now on top of the state tax.and they don't get any credits that I know of...Like we( I used to) with the GST quarterly rebate and Ontario tax reduction credit.

Falligator--Be very careful what food you take with you from country to country. The bordor agents are VERY strict about certian foods. It's worth checking out if your going to cross on a regular basis.
