What I wonder is, what real difference does it make? We have driven through Atlanta many times with ten wheels and never once found ourselves longing to drive in the six-wheel lanes. How is it an advantage?
And about that 55 mph in California thing, TeamCaffe is not alone. Diane and I never drive faster than 55 mph there.

Phil, haven't you ever been caught in that Atlanta rush hour jam and wished you could move with the outside lanes? this was a simple question as in" I was just wondering" not anything else and the comparison of speeds in CA was pointing out the 3 axel law in CA, nothing else , beside your a 3 axel truck so of course you could not drive over 55mph even if you wanted to without going a foul of the law.
