Re: ATA Truck Driving Championships

You know Julie, I got to thank you with all my heart, it was great to hear from the peanut gallery on this issue, it really matters to me, so much sleep would have been lost because I have been so misdirected by the fact that no one else answered the question or attempted to answer it, including the great literary geniuses we have floating around here and I needed to be told I was wrong for even posting anything after Phil posted his nice but rather long story so I know that I am safe in my virtual truck in this virtual truck stop in this virtual rain in this virtual state with the virtual sun going down on the virtual horizon because there are some who just don't like me and with their narrow way of thinking only think I only want to see that post counter grow or I only follow up Phil to trash him or make him look bad while he is doing that by being obtuse over the questions being ask or the fact that he says I am wrong but does not attempt to tell me where I am wrong or why which I will accept because I am trying to help out others instead of leading them to a website that has a fancy truck floating over the moon and confusing rules on the national contest and no real good navigation for people who are not computer savvy all the while I know what I was told when I wanted to do this very same thing Phil and Diane did that FedEx and Landstar were members and it was only open to members on the national level but I digress because I am truly sorry that you feel this way and your point of me cr*pping on the thread was not my intent at all, while I had to defend my post that was also about trying to get someone else involved with the thread outside of Phil, like someone who has done this more than once maybe, you remind me of someone else, maybe you are the same as that person but nevertheless it don't matter now because all the EO members can sleep well tonight knowing that you pointed this all important information while you yourself cr*pped all over the thread at the same time not being able to bring something of quality to this thread by answering any of the questions from the poster about the subject.

I apologize to one person, Pjjjjj. My intent was to have a more adult involvement by other members and more corrected information by the author on this event because I feel there is a lot to be gained if others take advantage of the event or at least the prep work involved, but there seems to be too many children at play on the subject (pun intended).

EO's only MEGA POSTER STILL

An immigrant from Poland living in Ohio, living a hardscrabble life with his wife was asked by a stranger on July 4th "why did you come here if you are so poor, wouldn't life be better in Poland?"

His answer was "I would rather live poor all my life than live my life without freedoms" - Theodore Konowski - 1852
