Yea that's all right and great (sort of) but the fact is with the cheap technology, kids can't figure how to give back the right amount of change nor can they do simple math without the need to pull out the calculator and figure it out (in the case of change have an electronic register tell them what to give back) or to use a cell phone to call someone who has a calculator to figure it out.

Is this really progress?
