On Thursday I heard on XM that on that date in 1972 the first handheld calculator was released. It cost $395. That's what, $600 in today's dollars? Today, 35 years later, you can get a calculator in a dollar store, and a good home computer for $600. Would anyone care to speculate on what technology will be like 35 years from today?
