Questions for Frank
Frank,
Do you take questions from a newbi? Let's take it from the top...I am under lease to a company, but have yet to leave the driveway with the truck. (Waiting on my IRP plate)
My question is this...I have over 700 miles invested on my car, doing the legwork involved in leasing on. I have the odometer readings, and dates, written down. Along with the receipts involved.
If I keep a written record of the mileage on my personal car, are the miles used for business purposes tax deductable? Surely the receipts are?
Thanks for your time in reading this, and I'm sure I'll have a lot more silly questions along the way. While expediting makes money, the bottom line has to be "How much can I keep?"
