RE: SLOW TIMES

T-Hawk is talking Diesel Dirty, you know how sides of trucks get when fuel is spilled and than run for weeks and weeks, well this truck looked like it had a Diesel Bath and then never rinsed off.

If your so busy as to not clean your truck you are missing alot more, items that need to be repaired, warning to DOTs that you do not care about your truck = you do not care about your logs, profession etc.. A clean or dirty truck does not say anything its a reflection upon the driver/company.

I am not here to critize anyone for running hard and not cleaning a truck but those wash's are preventave maintance to me salt rinsed off of electrical lines = longer life and thats just on electrical lines not including metal and moving parts.

My mechanic allways thanks me for my engine compartment being cleaned and he always starts on my truck first thing in the morning cause its cleaner than most trucks that he works on. Now do I make time to get her washed? You bet, I will in a slow time or regaining 70 at a layover drive accross the parking lot at 3:00am to get it washed. Just forget to log it.
