| Driver with Class A and over 12 years verifiable experience now looking for opportunity for more home time. Do not have current haz-mat, however extensive training & experience with haz-mat, willing to get endorsement again. Also have tank, double/triple and passenger endorsements. Previously qualified and drove tractor/trailer for Panther II contractor, familiar with expediting. Not currently able to cross into Canada, however may be able to again soon. Have over 2 million miles OTR with no preventable accidents, 1 moving violation in over 12 years. Willing to drive any type of equipment-van, straight or tractor/trailer. Am currently a smoker, however will maintian equipment as if my own. Responsible, conscientious, hard-working. Extensive experience in all-weather driving, including winters in western states. Haz-Mat training from Dow Chemical, Dow Corning and Du Pont, as well as a former firefighter/haz-mat 1st responder. Experience in all aspects of driving, company driver, owner/op, safety mngr., dispatch & shop manager. If you're willing to take a chance on me, I will make us both alot of money.

Update, 06/11/08: I have talked to a few of you already and so far have not found the perfect fit yet, however, I have been told that I should make a few changes here. After a few really bad experiences with running team in the past, I am not interested in being part of a team again. Also, I realize with most, if not all contractors, I would be paid as an independent sub-contractor with a 1099 instead of a w-2. Although I am not totally opposed to that, with the ever-rizing cost of health insurance and such, not to mention the tax issues, I would prefer to be considered an employee. I realize that this may not be possible in the expedited field, but prefer that.
