| Good morning, 'er good afternoon, or maybe good evening. What time zone are we in again hun? Oh, never mind....
We've been lurking in the background of this site for some months now and wish to make our presence know to all potential employers.
So, who are we? Well, how 'bout the basics:
My name is Eric and next to me is my team mate Denise.
We are a responsible, H/W team of 3 yrs. (CDL A)
Currently we drive an OTR tractor on a dedicated route (1 yr) and we are bored to death with it. We discussed a route change with our current employer but it just isn't in the cards. Bummer too, because we really like these guys.
We have experience with many different types of freight including heavy and oversized, temp. controlled, flatbed, and of course, dry box van. That being said, we have not been job hoppers. We have just been lucky to have been employed by O/O with many trailer and freight types available to us.
We have driven in all weather conditions and although we have our favorites, as long as we change the wipers regularly and keep some tread on the tires, we get along just fine.
We are both skilled, competent drivers with no accidents or tickets. Furthermore, we a pleased to say we have never been arrested or "detained" for any reason.
We are most interested in a non-articulated expediting position but there is a catch, (isn't there always?) Our current employer sure takes care of us financially as we NET a little over $1800 (5700 miles) a week and we could only accept a position that either meets or exceeds our current income. We are prepared to stay out 3 weeks at a time working as hard as humanly possible but, yes another catch, we would like to play hard for about a week before going back out.
