34 Hour Restart

Nearing the end of winter and it is hard to top the view from this Petro.

The Kingsland, GA, Petro exit 4 on I-95 has a beautiful pond at the back of the property.  We always pull our truck in nose first so that when we look out of our windshield we have this wonderful view.

We were here during the first days of March and it was green, beautiful and warm.  We enjoyed our weekend here watching the ducks and geese as they stopped for visits.

This Petro does not have a restaurant only fast food and that is something we stay away from.  Down the street is a Cracker Barrel, across the street is an I-Hop, and nearby is a very nice steak house.  Two miles away is a Wal-Mart and we stocked up on groceries and I enjoyed creating some nice meals to enjoy by our "lakeside" view.

Another really nice amenity is a small-enclosed dog run with a couple of picnic benches.  I know that if Molly were still alive she would have liked this area as long as another dog was not in the fenced in area.   For a big dog there is not much room but it is a little big of area they can enjoy not on a leash.  I think this would be a nice area for the cats that will walk on a leash as they could wander around and not worry about dogs.

This Petro has is a free dump station as well as fresh water.
